NJIT FLYLANDERS  

The Flylanders™, also known as The Aero Team at the New Jersey Institute of Technology [NJIT], is dedicated to promoting opportunities for students to apply their knowledge to the aerospace field outside of the classroom.

 

SAE annually hosts an International Aero Design Competition in which students from over a hundred of universities are given constraints to design, build, and fly an RC airplane. 

 

NJIT Flylanders™ will participate in the Regular Class Competition in which the aircraft must carry an optimal amount of cargo load given the restrictions of the wingspan, cargo length, etc.
